I guess I should qualify my last post. I seemed to have lost a couple of blog post in transitioning my website so I will re post.
The towing company I work for ran a call for a salvage on the Chesapeake Bay this past October. The boat is a 1986 C&C 35 MKII. The boat had water about knee deep in the cabin when our crew arrived. The boat pumped quickly and sat back up on her lines. We towed the boat to a marina off of Frog Mortar Creek in Baltimore where it was determined the shaft log had leaked and the batteries were dead therefore she took on water. The boat was pulled and there she sits. The boat was declared a loss and the owner was paid out. I am one who looks for deals and does not mind spending money on a project (boat flipper?). Anyhow I made a deal with the insurance company, as I said they have my money, I am now just waiting on the title to arrive so it is all legal and such. My previous post touches on what I have done so far, I will continue to update this post as well as provide some pics and video when possible.
